Don't miss out on the local baseball flair. The North Shore Spirit is the local favorite and member of the independent Northeast League, which consists of eight teams in the Northeast region and is located nearby at Fraser Field, a historic ballpark, opening in 1940. Recently renovated, Fraser Field is a nice place to relax and attending a North Shore Spirit game is a great way to spend the time.
Great for kids of all ages with a play area in back of the grandstand. There's a jungle-gym-type setup for younger kids to race and jump through. For older kids, there's a pitching cage where they can time their fastballs. Best of all, parents can feel safe with their kids playing there: it's fenced in and supervised by more than a few Spirit employees.
